How the clocks break down

Clocks – there is something mystical in this old mechanism. Don’t you think so? (Especially in the old-old clocks).

When we notice that our clocks stopped their work, we are trying to find some sense or hidden message in this, trying to connect the exact time of their stop with our life or lives of our relatives’. And certainly we are thinking that it is the evil missive or unique warning!

Of cause we are thinking in that way, because clocks for the most people are alive mechanism: with their birth and death. And when the clocks slow down or gather speed, they are trying to catch somebody’s eye on them.

But does anyone think that clocks (specifically clock’s pointer) could fall in love?

I’m just wondering: what number does the clock’s pointer like best of all?

Perhaps the pointer stops near its well-beloved number for the longer time to feast eyes on it. Chop-chop – not to let somebody notice it. There also could be unloved number for the pointer. Maybe it is “six”… because it is always turned back of the pointer.

Time is getting on; the clocks are ticking – tick-tack, tick-tack… With every minute the shy pointer gathers strength and courage.
And finally, on one fine day the clock’s pointer will gather itself up, put the best suit on, buy flowers and make a declaration of love to its loved number. And will stay there forever.

…Probably that’s how the clocks break down…

In addition… maybe in this case we shouldn’t carry the clocks to repair shop for mending –thereby to separate two sweet hearts…
